The Verizon Wireless LG Ally does not have a dedicated answer tone application like most Verizon Wireless feature phones. But that doesn't mean you're stuck with the standard ring. You can still purchase answer tones from the Ally using the browser. Verizon Wireless calls answer tones "ringback tones." When you purchase a ringback tone, the charge is billed to your Verizon Wireless account and you have access to the tone for one year. Difficulty:Moderately Easy1 Tap the "Browser" icon on the main screen of the Ally.
2 Type "s.vzw.com/home" without quotes in the address bar and tap "Go."
3 Locate the song you want as an answer tone. You can search by artist or title, or browse by genre.
4 Tap the song title, then touch "Ringback Tone."
You can purchase multiple ringback tones, and set different tones for each caller. Touch the "Manage" link on the ringback tone main page.
